Brief description
The course enables learners to further their creativity in craft design through developing individual projects using materials and techniques of their own choice
Course Objectives:
The course aims to provide students with;
· Skills in advanced multimedia craft.
· Knowledge on production of specific projects.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course learners should be able to:
· Develop ideas that contribute to the advancement of multi-media crafts in the community.
· Produce multimedia crafts for specific projects using materials techniques of their own choice.

Course Objectives
• Stimulate learners’ awareness regarding the various forms of art exhibitions in view of other forms/types of display
• To train the window displays and organizing space for Art and Design.
• To understand techniques of branding and lighting system for spaces in exhibition halls/Art galleries.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course the students should be able to:-
• The learner will gain skills in awareness regarding the various forms of art exhibitions in view of other forms/types of display
• The learner shall be able to do window displays and organizing space for Art and Design.
• The learner shall be able to utilize techniques of branding and lighting system for spaces in exhibition halls/Art galleries.
Course Description:
The process of preparation for exhibition, developing a theme for exhibition, selection of artworks for exhibition, cataloguing design, budgeting for exhibition, preparation for display, mounting, finishing touches, techniques of display, combination of frames and artworks, choice of display. Choice of mounting material, framing, creation of stands in mounting of works, glazing, waxing, space usage, presentation of sketches and folios.
Artworks produced by the students during the final year of study shall be exhibited at the end of the semester. These include: major work projects, artworks from the students’ respective elective courses and their core practical courses. Selection of suitable artworks is done by the students, in consultation with their course facilitators. During the last week of the semester, the students prepare to practically perform what they have learnt through an end of year exhibition which is mounted by each respective student in a space allotted to them
